The Committee on Public Health recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis and in entirety the bill on amendments to several laws regarding separate issues of conducting medico-social examination

The bill (Reg. No. 4528) suggests amend article 7 of the Law “On Rehabilitation of Disabled in Ukraine” in order to determine legal basis for establishment of a respective disability group without statement of the time of reexamination for persons having anatomical defects and other irreversible impairments of functions of organs and body systems.

Committee members believe that the amendments suggested in the bill will promote social protection of the disabled; enhance protection of their rights in the course of medico-social examination; and promote rational use of budget funds.
